Repository, auch Enzyklopädie oder Software-Entwicklungs-Datenbank genannt, (Internationale Normung IRDS). Kernstück von CASE. In einem Repository werden nicht nur Informationen über Daten (Data Dictionary), sondern Informationen über alle Phasen der Software-Produktion gespeichert, auch Bildschirmmasken-Formate, Datenmodelle, Spezifikationen etc.

Repository: A facility for storing descriptions and behaviors of objects in an enterprise, including requirements, policies, processes, data, software libraries, projects, platforms and personnel, with the potential of supporting both software development and operations management. A single point of definition for all system resources
